Not many people would buy a Mitsubishi Evo 8 MR just to take the kids to school or go and pick up the shopping from the supermarket once a week. These cars mean business and so do the owners who love to make the most of their Evo 8.
Therefore, this Project XXX sounds as if it could be something special, after all nobody would add “XXX” to car that was not worthy would they.
Well in fact yes this is car is special, the owner not only wanted a car that could rip the tarmac at the track, but also a car that could be used every day on the road. Now that may sound like a tall order and to most people it probably would, but the owner has friends down at Unlimited Works and Voltex, now the project takes on a different meaning.
The first thing that you notice about this car is the exterior, Voltex provided all of the body parts that would makes a wild car into a beast of the road, and yet even though it looks like a beast it is in fact a stylish creation.
The finished product delivers around 425 HP and 398 lb ft of torque, every detail of the Evo has been looked at and made better, which is what building a great car is all about there is always going to be something that needs sorting out and so the project continues.
