However, there is more to this car as we are about to find out.

This build is something very special indeed and deserves a closer inspection, the first thing that you notice is the colour, and usually such a green would not be given a second glance. However, clearly this is where the builder here has vision, because the colour actually grows on you to extent that you suddenly feel comfortable with it and it works especially well with those lambo style doors and other body features.

The builder has put in so much time and effort on this project that hardly no part or section has been left untouched, which is clearly, why this car stands out so much, it is truly a wonderful machine that effectively stands alone from other Integras out there, you could say that it is unique and that would be correct. Which is what we are looking at here, although this car is a shadow of its original self, due to the extensive work?

You have to admire anyone who takes on a project, no matter how they go about it or the money and time they are willing to spend on the project. The simple fact is that these people have the vision of being able to see what the car would look like before any work is even started. Being dark in colour this Acura Integra demonstrates just a how well a car look with a bit of work and a lot of planning.

Already this car is around thirteen years old, this would normally mean the end of days for a standard car, but not here, as this car has much more in the tank to offer too. The way that this design has used dark grey and black makes for a smooth design even though the builder has improved the exterior with some minor changes at the front end and by losing the door handles. There was as with most Japanese motors at the time a wide range of power units to choose from, the 1.6 litre, 1.7 litre and the 1.8 litre as fitted to this modified car, as well as the choice of a five speed manual or four speed automatic gear box.

This is a car that over a long period of time has gradually been built up and not is at a standard that can only be described as pristine. The car has around 88,000 mile on the clock, so it has not just been sitting on the drive or in the garage looking good, this is a car that has been used for the day to day business of getting on with things.

Naturally there has been a lot of work of the car, with many or the parts including the engine being replaced, it now runs a 1999 1.8 litre engine, but even this has been worked to a high standard and in fact has been polished up too, check out this image below for the that.

The Acura or Honda Integra LS is the perfect family car, it offered safe and reliable driving for the average family, because of this it was nothing special in fact, you could say that this was a boring car designed to go about the day to day business that a family would do.

However, that was then and this Acura Integra LS is now and there is little comparison between this car and its earlier incarnation. This is a right cool piece of work that has been developed over a number of years. Most parts have been replaced by proper racing parts and apart from the actual body line, that still resembles the old shape, there is little to remind us of what this car used to be.
