This is an opportunity to get your hands on a pretty unique modified car; it is an Infiniti Twin Turbo G35. but nothing like we have seen before because this has been modified to a very high standard, in fact many pro import builder firms would be proud to show off a car that looks and performs as well as this one does even though there are around 48k miles on the clock.

As it stands, the Infiniti Twin Turbo G35 two door coupe was a cool car, powered by a 3.5 litre V6 engine with a power output of between 260 HP and 298 HP depending on the set up. This is a front engine car with either rear wheel or all wheel drive. It shares many parts with its sister car, the Nissan 350Z, but fans will have you think that the Infiniti is a more refined car offering a better standard of finish.

The Infiniti comes from a long pedigree of performance and luxury car, sometimes it may seem that the car has a bit of split personality, on the one hand it is a sports car, while on the other it wants to be a luxury drive too! It is firmly placed between the sporty Nissan 350Z and the luxurious Infiniti Sedan, but this version of the Infiniti Twin Turbo G35 is very different from the rest.

This is a 2004 model; it has done around 48,000 miles and according to the owner has had around $50,000 spent on it. In fact the car actually looks as if it has had $50k spent on it, in fact this car could be up there as being one of best around, it is certainly one of the best modified Infiniti Twin Turbo G35’s that is currently for sale, oh yes hand over $25,000 and this car could yours, cool!

Modifying an Infiniti G35

Normally the modifying of cars would be reserved for older and much plainer cars, taking something simple and turning it into something fantastic. So modifying the brilliant Infiniti G35 would seem at first to be a pointless exercise for this is a car that is almost perfect in every way and would clearly not benefit from any additional equipment.

How wrong could we be, for this car and its owner have completely changed to way that we view cars, in particular the type of car that should or could be modified. the simple fact is that any car no matter what its make or features are, can be modified and this means that all cars can be improved upon no matter what specs it has or even how much the car is worth.

The Infiniti G35 two door coupe is an impressive car as it stands, powered by a 3.5 litre V6 engine and a handy six speed manual gearbox. This is a car that off production would be producing around 280 HP, but this modified car has been developed to stage where it can deliver a massive improvement on that figure, in fact, it currently stands at 362 HP.

However, this a project that is not complete, it may have improved suspension, engine management and even some exterior body kit additions. However, there is more to come with this build and one place where a serious improvement can be made is through adding a better and bigger turbo, it is not all about power and speed! Who are we kidding, of course it is. Power, looks and speed is the corner stone of any project.

Some modified cars push limits of their boundaries; you see this with small family style cars. But then there are cars that initially would not need any modifications at all, such as the Nissan G35 (Infiniti), this is car that could match the performance of some of the worlds super cars and yet still comes in at a price that’s right.

The Infiniti FX SUV

As with many car makes the urge to produce a serious SUV sometime is just too much and so we find that most brands have taken one of their cars and turned into a larger version, but sometimes these cars are hot and the Infiniti FX is one of those.

This one is the property of Viet Nguyen based in California and with a hunger for the FX, once in his possession the work begins and the job is the turbo! However, no ordinary turbo, this was a prototype of the turbo kit from Jim Wolf Technology.

When the FX came out it was competing with the Porsche Cayenne and Volvo XC90, it use the base of the Nissan 370Z, with a choice of 3.5 litre V6 giving 280 HP or the 4.6 litre V8 giving 320 HP, both used the five speed automatic gearbox that has additional manual mode.

Today this car has 508 HP under the hood and is capable of hitting 110 mph in just 12.7 seconds. Nevertheless, most surprising of all is the fact that this is a car that is being used every day by the owner, image sitting next it that at the lights, oh the temptation!

It’s a great Infiniti G35

This is a great looking G35 in fact aren’t all of them great! This is a car that has the lines of Porsche and grunt of a Ferrari, yet this is just an infiniti but these car should never underestimated as they offer top performance without having to fork out the same sort of cash as those other sports.

From the outside there is little to show that this car has been modified, only a true fan would notice the different lights, front grill and the fact that the entire car has been debagged just to make impossible to tell which one it is.

The engine has been tuned to perfection and will produce a decent 380 HP, considering the weight of the car and how aerodynamic it is. Producing some of that boost is the Vortech Polish Supercharger, more of these please!

The Infiniti is one of those cars that gets some serious attention for all of the right reasons. It has everything that you want from a car and more besides. However, some people are simply not happy with what they have and will take the car to the next level.

Some people may think that this colour does not suit the car, but I think it does especially as the colour smothers the entire car so there is no other colour or surface visible. Nevertheless, colour does not make the car it is just covering, underneath is what counts.

You will find a beautiful Vortech Supercharger and Megan stainless steel headers, in fact, there are plenty of shiny surfaces under the hood, and so if runs as good as it looks then this baby is going to purring. Yet the stats show that it produces a nice 380 WHP.

Great looking G35 Coupe

Before we start, I have to admit that this is one of my favourite cars, even before anything has been done to it this car is a super car that is totally awesome in almost every single way. In that case, this is a great car before it has been touched, but this one has been touched and therefore does that make it better? Of course it does no G35 fan would turn their back on a on a car like this.

The bodywork is great; in fact, it looks as if there has only been minimal amounts of work done on this car, such as a roof wing, side skirts and front bumper. One nice touch is the wing mirror covers, these have carbon fibre covers, but even better than that is the roof section, that has been made by hand from carbon fibre too.

This is car that almost looks like a prototype or even a concept car that you would see at a car show, but it is just the result of a well thought out plan, a lot of hard work and of course the one factor that ties all modified cars, a fair amount of cash!

It is not that often that you find a build waiting to happen, but this looks like one, it’s not had much done to it apart from some modifications to the engine department. Naturally, this does not mean that the owner actually wants physical help he is probably quite capable of doing that himself.

What this one requires is some sponsorship, of course, that is the dream of a lot of car owners out there, but you have to admit it that this is a car worthy of some work. The main thing about this car is that it is a blank canvas and the owner needs the sponsorship in order to sort out the bodywork and a get a decent paint job done, not a major job is it (Joking) but it is worth doing.

One thing about these cars is that they are so fantastic looking that they are breathtaking, the paint work is something else, yes its full of advertising, but that is all part of it, these cars would not look half as good if they were just in a plain colour.

This car is powered by Titan it makes it super fast, but at same time it is a drifting machine, power and super sliding, what a combination and that is the object of car a drifting car that tops all of the competition.

With a Haltech E11V2 to handling the fuel management, all tuned by R2B2 Motorsports of Atlanta and they have included a Aeromotive fuel regulator and pump to handle the fuel with a custom fuel rail that comes from Drift Emporium.

The FX35 one hell of an Infiniti

Now to most the Infiniti would be classed as a SUV, but that is what make this so cool as with a lot of Nissan’s they tend to share common parts. Therefore, you have the Infiniti of course, but this car shares the FM platform with its cousins the 350Z and G35, now that is enough to get the attention of anybody.

After putting the VQ35 V6 into this car it must have been a tight fit, yet after some refinements this car is capable of producing around five hundred HP, which for a car like this is something to take notice of, imagine sitting at the lights next that beast!

Sure, this will rip it up from the lights, but what this really needed was a superior exterior and it has that too, it looks as if the body kit has been made from some sort of liquid metal that forms around the car to create a protective shield around it.
