This is 2005 model, which is the last of the first generation IS cars, but despite the age this Lexus is very desirable and came with choice of 2.0 litre and 3.0 litre engines and four choices of gear box. Take a look at those wheels too, they are chromed and because there are is no other silver coloured bodywork on the car these wheels really shine through as they are supposed to, although they are all right in the dry weather, when it is wet they end up looking like any other wheel.

As move into the interior I love what they have done with the paintwork by continuing the green right through into the car’s interior, sometimes this practice does not look good. One of the good things about this build is that a lot of visible parts such as the grill have been cannibalised from other Lexus models, there is however a serious amount of carbon fibre surrounding this car, this of course helps with the heat displacement and it lighter too which is always going to help.

The great thing about this car is that you can feel at home driving this to the shops or work, as well ripping it up around a track at the weekend. A truly great build in my mind is something that can be very versatile and switch from one mode to the other with no great alterations needed at all.
