So you wanna pimp car, so what do you need? Well a good start has to be a car, this can be any make or model but obviously a runner is a good idea as that means you do not have to spend all your budget on getting the thing to start otherwise no matter what it looks like if don’t run then you are not going anywhere. Now you have your ride there some main places to visit, the tyre and wheel shop, body shop and if at all necessary the engine shop. It is probably a good idea to check out prices beforehand after all there is no point in buying a car to pimp and only having a few hundred bucks over to finish the job, you are not going to half a decent wheel with that. Deals is what you need now, the lowest price does not mean a rubbish job in many cases it seems that the glossier the shop the higher the price. But is the work any better, maybe it is maybe it’s not there are many factors here to deal with but at the end of the day it is … Continue reading →

Entering the annual SEMA show is giant step for some people, but entering the Scion’s Corporations, Scion Tuner Challenge Competition for the third year running this is the place to be and to compete in for any serious Scion player. One team that has been there before is the Team Koshak/aLL STaR Scion xD and this is the XD that has been there and done that all before, each team has a mediocre budget of $15,000 which may seem to be a lot, but when you are building up a championship winning car that sort of cash goes really fast. Apart from the obvious roof chopping of the roof, Scions can seem to be slightly boxy in shape.
Product Description

Brand new TCS T6061 polished aluminium hub centric wheel spacer’s adapters. These hub centric spacers are made specifically to each vehicle. The spacers will fit on your vehicle’s original hub without any gap. This will insure the wheel not to move around and causing imbalance when vehicle is in motion. Wheel spacers/adapters space the wheel out from the hub, effectively widening the stance of the vehicle and lowering its roll centre. This simple add-on increases lateral stability, which in turn provides improved handling, greater safety, and the sleek style you have been looking for.

I know that there are those that do not think that this is a supercar, but you only have to look at the image to realise that this is a brilliant car and just happens to be bullet proof too. This particular Nissan 350Z has had some extensive work done on it as you will be able to make out from the specs below but it still carries the shape of the original car and that is what matters to fans, who have not quite summoned up enough courage to go out and buy for themselves. Whatever anyone thinks of the Nissan 350Z, they would have to take a second look at this car, and maybe if they close enough to it, take a little look inside to what is going on in there.
“Rvinyl Dash Kits are manufactured from a professional grade, 6-year rated automotive vinyl film. Rvinyl uses a 3 mil thick, vinyl that is available in a wide variety of high gloss colours and finishes to complement your vehicles interior. It is coated with a semi-permanent pressure sensitive adhesive, which allows for its application on your vehicles dash, but still allows you to remove the dash kit without damaging your cars interior. The Vinyl film is pre-cut to the specifications of your vehicles make, model and year (as listed and illustrated in the product diagram). It is designed to accent your vehicles dash. The dash kit solely accents the interior; it is not designed to fully cover the cars trim panelling. What are the vinyl dash trim kits physical properties? Thickness of film plus adhesive: .0042″” (0.010668cm) Application temperature: 50°F to 104°F (10°C – 40°C) Rvinyl recommends an application temperature of 70-80°F (21° -26°) End Use temperature after application: -5°F to 194°F (-20°C – 90°C)”

Secret Weapon Intake (Nissan | 240SX | 91-94)

Product Description

The air filter can be totally taken apart and cleaned. The foam is denser and more thicker than the Dragon filter.

The velocity stank inside the air filter is a TRUE VELOCITY STACK. The Air filter has Ram Air capability, by hooking up the hose to the top of the air filter.

The intake has another Air Passage way inside the intake pipe to create a Air Fusion, imagine 2 different pathways of air inside the intake pipe, one air traveling in pathway #1 going 2 x faster than pathway #2. When the two different pathways of airflow meet at the end of the pipe they create a fusion effect which enhances the AIR SPEED of the by 3 times.

The Secret Weapon Intake Systems is an result of countless hours of testing and tuning of air intake velocity, Airmass and Airspeed for each vehicle application. The Result, an intake system that performs better than any Cold Air Intake, but with a Short Ram. It is possible by Weapon*R’s Patent Pending Speed Velocity theory, By creating a higher airspeed in the intake path you increase airmass and airspeed, which greatly increase horsepower.

This is possible by Creating two different paths of airflow, both flowing at different airspeeds, due to the tubing diameter in which the air is traveling. Now when the two different paths of air meet, they create a vacuum, which is where the airspeed starts to multiply, forcing more air into the engine at a higher rate, creating more horsepower.

The Secret Weapon Intake Systems are carefully CNC mendrel bent out of 6061 Aluminium, and then Hand Tig Welded in sections to ensure a constant balance in airflow, regulation in airspeed, positive seal and proper fittment. Each one of these intake systems are carefully tuned, by matching the engines displacement, air intake capacity and airspeed to the intake systems tube size, length and secondary pathway tubing diameters to maximize the full potential of the SECRET WEAPON INTAKE SYSTEM.

A collaboration is always going to produce something spectacular and this Scion XD is definitely some sort of super car that looks as if it has been factory made, but of course, we all know what a Scion XD looks like before the work has been done. This car has been built by Team Koshak and All Star, this was originally designed for the SEMA 2008 show, the most prominent thing about the car is the roof, or rather the lack of one. This is something really makes a car stand from the rest and the way that this has been done is for impact, which they have achieved. The colour green features heavily on this car and even as you inside there is a splash of Samari Green greets you in the centre console.

Product Description

“Rvinyl window tint kits are made from high quality tint film manufactured by Llumar. Our film when properly installed will not fade, lose colour, turn purple, or bubble. Precut tints are a cost effective way for the do-it-yourself installer to save time and money by taking the guess work out of the window tint installation process. Rvinyl car window tint kits are precut specifically for the make, model and year listed in the product name using advanced software and the most updated window tint pattern databases in the industry. We use professional grade equipment in the manufacturing of your film kit, allowing for a precision and professional results in half the time it would take you to install film by the roll. Although installing precut kits is significantly easier and less time consuming than installing film by the roll, it can still be a difficult process. Although many sites claim their kits are easy to install, we recommend you review the installation procedures outlined to make sure our product meets your needs. Installation difficulty depends on the ability of the installer, the particular windows being tinted and the compound surface of the rear windshield as it will require heat shrinking for proper installation. Front and rear windows are generally relatively easy to tint as they rarely require heat shrinking.”

These Subaru’s are great little cars get the right one and you could be hitting 150 mph with problem at all, apart from the cops with speed guns but that is just an occupational hazard. Anyway, by all accounts this car from the images does look like anything has been done to it. Sure, there are the odd cosmetic touches here and there, but to the average man or woman in the street this is simply a Subaru WRX from 2003. Yet under the hood there are a few surprises like the IHI VF39 Turbo, STi Top Mount Intercooler, DeatschWerks 565cc Injectors and Walbro 255LPH Fuel Pump, it that does not get you going then I am afraid that nothing is likely to get you going. We like cars like this one, a wolf in sheep’s clothing is probably the most appropriate words that we could put to this car, do not be fooled by what you first see, this car means business. Specs of Edgar Gamboa’s 2003 Subaru WRX Engine Modification IHI VF39 Turbo STi Top Mount Intercooler DeatschWerks 565cc Injectors Walbro 255LPH Fuel Pump Perrin Up-Pipe Perrin Catless Downpipe Espelir JGT 500 Catback Exhaust K&N … Continue reading →

It is the colour is taken from a famous Japanese drifting car, but it is the Vertex bodywork that makes this car stand out, even more than the yellow colour. Under the body is car quite capable of producing just under four hundred HP. Now there is a lot that can be done with that sort of power.

This is finished project now, and Tiffany is enjoying her ride, hopefully seeing how extreme drifting can help a driver to be first past the post. Whatever she is doing, this is a good job with the Nissan Skyline proving that a good car can be made into a great car.
