Mitsubishi Evolution IX MR Ready To Race

559-picture-554

There is a fine line between racers and showers; the racer spends time and money on their chosen car in order to get to their chosen finish line before the competition. Whereas, on the other hand an exhibitor also spends plenty of time and money on their car. However, with the goal to please the eyes of the judges and fans who attend events where looks are more important than the horse power.

Nevertheless, wh

The modified Mitsubishi Evo IX

30526_148314

If you are intent on modifying an Evo then this is the model to do it with as it offers the builder so much to work with. This is because it is based on a serious production car to start with and that can make all of the difference when it comes to keeping the costs down, but still managing to keep the spirit of the car going.

There is very little that has not been touched on this build and so that means almost every part i

Anyone that is familiar with the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo will see that this car has undergone some serious changes in the bodywork department, so it stands to reason that there is going to be some even more serious work going on under that hood.

This is an Evo X and therefore the latest configuration of specs provided by the manufacturer, not that many of those

A Super Modified Mitsubishi Evolution

29498_131330

This is the brilliant Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, the ninth generation of the car in fact and in those colours with the yellow and the black decals, it looks supreme just as it is and that it without knowing anything about the car, model or what is underneath the hood either.

One thing is for sure and that is this model came around in 2005, using the same 2.0 litre engine with choice of five or six speed manual gear

The year actually makes no difference to the this car, it could be this year’s model or a car from ten years ago, whatever the age it is, this car is going to be hot you only have to look at the work that has gone into this machine to realise that the car is something very special.

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Reborn

sstp_1003_07_o+2005_mitsubishi_lancer_evolution+side

This is a classic Japanese classic car, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution originally made in 2005 so it is not too old, but the car that we see in front of us is far removed from the car that rolled off the production five years ago.

The car has been given a new leash of life both inside and out, it could be said that this is an American dream car transferred into a small family sized car from Japan, if that is at all possible of course.

The EVO as they have come to be known is a relative newcomer to the US

The big orange Evo

impp_1003_01_o+2006_mitsubishi_evo_ix+front_shot

To have a car in orange paintwork you had better make it the best sort of car available in its class, because if it not then you are going to have to put up with a lot of stick from other people on the track or the roads.

This is a Mitsubishi Evo IX and you do not seem to be getting many of these around at the moment, I cannot think why but mat maybe it is because the there are too many of these cars on the road and not on the track.

In fact surprisingly this is a road car and no doubt can be seen on the r

The evolving Mitsubishi Evo 9

559-picture-554

We call this evolving because that this what they have been doing with this car, in fact there is more going on here than it would first appear. From just looking at the images, the car is not that far removed from the car that rolled off the production a few years ago, but how wrong you can be!

There has been extensive work done under the hood and it shows immediately as the hood is lifted, as there is hardly any room to move around the compartment let along add anything else and yet this car produces a whopping 360 WHP, which is not to be dismi

2008 Mitsubishi Seibon EVO X

0901-evo-01

This is a classic example of someone who has gone out to the main dealer and bought a decent brand new car, for most people that would enough but for Chris Torres, that would simply not do and the car just had to stripped back to the basics and started over again from scratch.

There is not many people who have actually go out and done that, that is probably because most people wouldn’t have the balls to a brand new and strip it b
