So what have they done here? Nissan have taken their beautiful GT-R (R35), stripped out all of the driver comforts and replaced the interior with a race standard fitting. This means taking the kids to school will be out of the question, but the single seat set up does mean that there is plenty of space for luggage or shopping, if this car was even remotely road legal, which incidentally it is not!

As part its build, the Nissan Nismo GT-R RC race car was actually entered into the 2010 SUPER TAIKYU Round 4 at Fuji in Japan just as part of the development of the car. Naturally such a high profile introduction proved to Nissan and the critical eyes of the crowd that this is a high performance car with, reliability and durability the essential qualities required for any race car.

Twin Blow Off Valves Nissan GT-R

Product Description for the Agency Power’s blow off valves;

One important facet on turbo charged vehicles is the factory blow off valve also known as the recirculation valve. Because the Nissan GT-R features a twin turbo setup, there is 1 blow off valve on each intercooler pipe. With stock recirc valves, they relieve the pressure from the intercooler pipe back into the intake pipe, which then goes into the turbo causing turbulence. This slows down the turbo spool up between shifts. However running an aftermarket blow off valve at a 100% atmosphere can cause MAF issues because there is no air being metered back. For modified cars running higher boost pressure, factory recirc valves can also leak boost from the OEM design at higher RPMs.

This is car that has laid down the challenge to other builders, it has taken the Rev Speed Time Attack with ease, put in a 54.481 sec lap time and in fact, this is the fastest Nissan Skyline GT-R ever to have turned up at the Tsukuba Circuit in Japan. So just, imagine what your Skyline would be capable of, if you only recreated a few changes that M Speed has done with this car.

For just $10,000 the US based import builder could buy the M Speed kit, this is what makes this Skyline appear to be like no other on the track or road, a small price to pay to end up with a unique looking car, don’t you think! Of course you don’t have to paint the new body bright yellow a nice black, silver or white would do just as good, although it may not stand out from the crowd so much.

This fantastic car has been developed as part of a joint effort between, Nissan, NISMO, Nova Engineering and Nordring in Japan, however as Nissan and the Japanese like to keep things to themselves, this car is currently only available in Japan and only to members of the Prestige Club of GT-R.

To join the club a team would be looking at an entry fee of around $25,000, for this the car is entered into the competition, is assigned a number, invited to two official track meetings a year and gets entry to the world famous annual get together. Membership renewal will cost around $12,000.

GTC are a UK based racing tuner who concentrates on the fantastic Nissan GT-R R35 they have projects based in the UK and around the world. The Nissan GT-R is my all time favourite car as it stands but combined with the fantastic Boost Logic Godzilla turbo kit, then this is simply the ultimate Nissan, sure it there is a huge price tag of $9,600 to add to the cost of the car, but it has to be worth it!

The beauty of these new GT-R’s is that almost anyone can get behind the wheel and become a serious racer with little or no training at all, this is both a great testament to the build and pretty scary too.

With a 3.8 litre power plant producing 480 HP under the hood as standard, it still manages to meet most of the emission standards set in cities from around the world. This is a solid car from Nissan and in fact does not really get the credit that is should do.

Yet this is a car that can easily claim a serious top speed of 193 mph and take the standing quarter mile test in just 11.6 sec, or 0 to 100 mph in 8.5 seconds. Therefore, it is clear to see what the power and speed can do under the foot of just any driver.

This car is the 2009 and for it modified takes some guts and therefore we would to assume some serious investment in time and parts. This is because it is very hard to improve on something that is already almost perfect in every respect and for many fast car fans; this is one of the cars that heads up the dream car list.

The standard off the production line car comes with a serious 3.8 litre DOHC V6 engine, with two parallel Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries (IHI) turbochargers that provide forced induction, giving the car a serious 474 HP and a maximum top speed of around 193 mph. The only downside would be the $80,000 price tag.

The modified version of the car, has some subtle changes that have been designed to produce a more efficient drive with an increase in power from the same factory fitted engine and turbos, coupled with a transmission that offers three modes, normal, for maximum smoothness, snow, good for shifting on slippery surfaces, and r mode, with fastest shifts.

KW has recognized the increase in level of participation and interest of Club sport enthusiasts world-wide. Therefore, KW has decided to launch new product line – KW Club sport. The GT-R’s original equipment (OE) brake discs just don’t have the staying power when pushed to the limits. Premature brake disc cracking is something no one wants to see after a day of fun. It didn’t take long for many to realize this is one of the few areas of weakness in an otherwise incredible car. Quickly responding to customer demand, Fifa Racing is now offering AP Racing upgraded discs that mount straight onto the OE brake hats.
