Teaming up with BRS Autodesign the idea was to produce a wonderful looking machine, but without losing the classic style and shape of the new body. This is a hard task but it has been successfully executed with this job and fans of the Scion brand worldwide would be able to recognise what this car is without too much trouble.

Because the exterior was limited in what modifications could be made, the team appear to have concentrated on performance, with a lot work being carried out under the hood to produce a car that may have the appearance of a family car. However, it comes with the performance of a sports car as it uses a Toyota Tundra engine with custom Garret turbo configuration offering around 600 HP!

One of the main features from the outside, are those serious twenty inch VIP Modular two piece wheels complete with Toyo tyres, nothing stands out more than a set of highly polished wheels. It seems that the work done producing this car was appreciated by the crowd at the show and has been ever since whenever it has been possible to this wonderful yet wicked car.

The Scion is a compact but very capable car, with a 2.4 litre power plant, which in this case it has been fitted a Garrett Turbo and that takes it right up to a cool 300 HP, which for a car of this size and weight is not to be underestimated at all.

The Scion is one of the only natural import builder’s cars, the shape just lends itself to be being modified and in most cases modified to the extreme. The guys that worked on this seem to have thought of everything right down to the motorbike that is sitting on the back of the truck, which is even finished off in the same colours.

This is a Scion XD and with the help of MV Designs they have developed this fantastic machine, it’s a sort cross between a car and kitchen as it comes with cooker, fridge, sink and everything else that you would expect to find in a regular kitchen.

It has been on show at the SEMA Motor Show and no doubt will be turning up at other events too, although it may be debatable whether they should be car or cookery shows. Whatever the case this is a car that is going to make a big impact and some mean burgers.

One team that has been there before is the Team Koshak/aLL STaR Scion xD and this is the XD that has been there and done that all before, each team has a mediocre budget of $15,000 which may seem to be a lot, but when you are building up a championship winning car that sort of cash goes really fast.

Apart from the obvious roof chopping of the roof, Scions can seem to be slightly boxy in shape. However, with imagination this car build is going to blow the minds of the judges surely! As it happens the  Team Koshak/aLL STaR Scion xD came in second to the previous champions Team Hybrid.

Yet another Scion XD has made its way onto the show scene and this one has really made an impact, it is not just down to the bright orange paintwork either. This car is a superb example of what is normally an average car.

This car was actually given to the builders to work on and I suppose that it is fair enough to say that the manufacturers have supplied most of the accessories that are on the car too. Therefore, it is fairly safe to say that this is a car that has been built up using the best materials and accessories.

The basics may have been supplied here, but it all needed to be put together and that takes some very hard and long, in fact it has taken around four months intensive work to build this car to its current standard. To some people that would appear to be quick, but these guys are pros and this car is a demo to everyone what you can do with any car.

The more that we see Scion XB’s the more that we seem to like them and that means that even more people come along with one of these cars. The cycle continues and eventually these cars will be appearing at more shows and more events.

The thing about these cars is that like many people these cars looked like vans with windows in the in the side and so the transformation of the van to a serious import builders dream machine began. Now we can see that the Scion XB has some serious scope with all of that space and square lines it is a designers ideal blank canvas.

This particular model has been built to max and by the looks of it, there is little room left for anything else, but there is no need to worry a good builder will always find a way to put a little something extra into the car somewhere. However, those ultra low profile tyres do not leave much room underneath the car.

General: The MB5 â Warrior From The Dark Ages

Unlike its spoked brethren, the MB5 is not a rim with a spoke design but a semi full-faced wheel. This Rim is designed in a way that makes it look like a shield that the warriors of the dark ages used in the ancient times of barbaric wars and competitions. This rim comes in a dark tanned finish and is machined polished to a perfect black tan. The lighter version of the rim is more inclined to a silver finish and goes well with the tire of the car. The black version matched the tire and the silver version contrasts with the black tire. Towards the outer ends of the wheel, where the broad spokes meet the rim, the design forms a seemingly three-sided half ellipse that is carved into the face of the rim. The centre of the rim is held fast to the rim with eight Allen nuts and covers the central coupling of the wheel entirely. This cover fits flush with the rest of the rim leaving no need for a hubcap that older car rims require to hide the ugly cast iron wheel and huge coupling bolts. Though the face of the wheel is black, the ring that forms the outer circle of the wheel and holds the tire in place is silver giving the wheel and the vehicle a very classy look. This is a car that was only first launched in 2004 and so it has taken its time to trickle through the import builder sector. But now the older ones are around five years old we are gradually seeing more Scion TC’s being worked and the finished items are coming out looking pretty spectacular and one in gold stands out from the crowd.

The great thing about the Scion TC is that a lot of the parts are from Toyota, so you are getting the reliability and cost savings of the buying from the world largest auto maker, but the Scion is something completely different.

We love the way that the lines of the car have been kept true to form, but the lowering of the car makes it take on a completely different shape and style. Add a set of eighteen inch Volk Racing GT_V forged wheels with BFGoodrich KDW TA 225/40 tyres and you have something that is rather special, and this car is that.
