Bodily there are little clues that someone has been carefully making this car better than brand new, but these subtle changes such as the front bumper, tail lights, turn signals and side markers come from later models, but only a complete Supra expert would know about that.

The worrying thing about this car is that there are plans to improve this almost perfect design, the owner intends to change the hood to a more meaty looking vented version, upgrade the drive shaft, add a Tein Flex coilover and Virtual intake manifold, with this final touch being some nice Recarro seats.

It has to be said, that once these final touches have been completed, it would seem that this Toyota Supra could be one of the best cars of its kind around at the moment. Of course, there may be another project on the horizon, but this one has the edge being almost completed and ready to hit the show circuit or maybe it will just end up being a road car, it would look nice in the supermarket car park!

You look at this is image and see the car that was made famous in the Nicolas Cage movie, Gone In Sixty Seconds, yet it if you at it very closely and of course know what you are looking for then you will notice there are some slight issues with the car.

So what is it, in fact this is the ultimate import build, it is a Toyota Supra from around 1998, but it has been modified to such an extent that the car has taken on the appearance of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Eleanor dating from 1967!

You can still see the Supras curves within the design, but this is a good exercise in how far a build can go, this is the work of a group of students from Saitama University, who are naturally studying on the college’s automotive course and of course have developed something very special.

The donor car for this transformation is the fourth generation version of the Supra; this would have had the standard 3.0 litre engine with a choice of five or six speed manual and a smooth four speed auto gearbox. The car would have been delivering around 300 HP, but with all of those panels on board it is hardly going to matter!

This very stylish car, has plenty of additions under the bonnet too, with like the Garrett turbine, HKS camshafts and twin power ignition kit. However, it would probably be a lot easier to explain what has not been changed on this car, as the actual list is almost endless.

The Supra is powered by a 3.0 litre engine, with a choice of the 4 speed auto, 5 speed and 6 speed manual gearbox. The turbo version of the car is well capable of producing around 320 HP and reaching a top speed of around 177 mph.

There is no doubt that this is a car that could be a contender for one of the best of its kind and why not for it’s is a car that even when it was produced and first hit the roads was a car to be reckoned with. The car came with two types of 3.0 litre engine the turbo version being easily capable of producing over 320 HP and reaching 60 mph from zero in under 4.6 seconds. For a distance it is actually difficult to tell what make and model this car is with those nineteen each wheels, which on a car of this size look absolutely huge in fact they are almost animated all of that rubber bulging from outside of the wheel rims.

So this of course is a brilliant Toyota Supra, it’s a cool car as it stands but for the Jamie Carter ordinary is a word that appears to have been missed out of his vocabulary. For this is car that produces a whopping 1,600 whp and this is a car that occasionally cruises down the highway too!

This model comes in a nice electric blue colour, which happens to be one of the best Toyota colours around, although no doubt there are people who that colour is total rubbish and prefer white or silver. There is one thing that is not too brilliant and that is the spoiler, its big one to say the least.

Sure, she may be part of the AutoConcept Elite Crew from Camarillo, California, who happened to help her out when it came to deciding how this car would eventually look and even more importantly perform.

Looking under the hood one of the firsts things that you would notice is the T51R SPL BB Turbine and all that goes with it like the GtTII wastegate and SS Manifold, it is a piece of artwork on its own.

The body kit gives the car a sleek look and from behind has an almost European look to it. However, this is a Supra through and trough; let nobody take that away from it.

On ground the twenty inch SSR Professor MS1 wheels that car covered by Nitto NT05 tyres, eleven inches wide at the rear and nine and half inches on the front this is some serious rubber and of course it needs to be.

Now it was the Toyota Supra that took his fancy as he believed that these were better than the Nissan Skyline GT-R, which seem to have made a second in the US.

Luckily there happened to be a spare 7M GTE engine lying around as they do, this was the perfect heart for the car as that can produce around 700 hp. However, as for the rest that would need some cash and hard work to get this project completed.

Blitz are the number one drag team in Japan, but drag racing has had a hard time over the past few years could the sport have lost its hold over the fans? In Japan that would somewhat strange considering that stars of motorsport are treated in a similar to rock stars are. Which sounds great to me.

Blitz have their head quarters in Tokyo which sort of takes the import message away out theme, but this car is cool and deserves to be shown. Currently there are several cars waiting for the Blitz treatment these include a Lexus LS and Nissan GT-R, but the Toyota Supra has the measure of those.

The Blitz/Scorch Supra has seen any tarmac yet, although there has to something in the pipeline and hopefully we will get to see it in action. However even by taking the racing away from the car it looks cool and in fact is cool, you only need to check the images to see that for yourself.

The front and rear bays have been finished in black this give the engine and everything else a better look. The Supra is being followed closely by the Japanese media and magazines, so there should not be any lack of coverage, we will just have to wait and wait!
