You used to see a lot of these around and about mainly driven by women or old couples for some reason, maybe it was because of the hatchback or nice driven style. But that was twenty years ago and can anyone remember the actual last time anyone saw one these cars on road in great working condition?
It seems that after the women and older drivers, these poor old civics feel into the hands of first time drivers that modified them slightly, which usually means a large sound system and some furry dice. Naturally this spelled the end of this model and now there are only few left, one of which is owned by Anthony Keever from Greensboro, NC.
He has taken this poor old car and with time and patience has put new life into it, from the outside it still has the same old same and styling with a few slight medications. Even the interior is almost the same as it was when granddad was driving it around.
However under the hood it is a different story, a lot of work has gone into the build. In fact the engine has almost been rebuilt to beyond its original state, did the original version look like this one does with Kevlar wire covers and superior body parts that cost an arm and a leg?
