This little Honda is something in disguise; it looks like a little car that is pretending to be a sports car. However, in reality, it is a big sports car in a small car body and the builders of this version have done a brilliant job too, that is without the excellent paint work that tells us that this is the del Sol model.
Originally, the Honda CRX would have been a small compact front wheel drive sports car, it is only two seater, so family guy need not apply! Nevertheless, in the US all that changed with a body change to incorporate 2+2 and an engine offering 130 HP.
The later models, which this one is, came fully loaded with a 1.6i version engine that could be tweaked to 160 HP, but it was the Honda CRX del Sol with the targa top that was the last model, often called the 3rd generation until Honda said no more in 1997.
This model has been modified to the max for looks more than performance, it has been turned into a brilliant looking inside and out, we about the performance of these cars, but this is something else with a superior paintjob, while inside Italian leather seats and door panels complete the job.
