Is this the best Mitsubishi Galant in the US?

by David Allen on Monday, March 22nd, 2010

Attempting to produce the best example of a car in the USA or if you want to take it further the World is one hell of task to take on. Especially as it turns out for many import car builders just coming up with a car that meets the minimum standards is hard enough, so how does this Mitsubishi Galant stand up to its owners claims.

Well according to Broderick Jones the car’s owner, the VR4 version of the Galant it came with a factory fitted turbo charged engine, but this would not be good enough for the best Mitsubishi Galant in the land. It has a three and half litre engine apparently the only one in the US packing a massive 225 HP.

This car could be the best one of its kind in the USA, in fact, it has been established that it is certainly the only one of its kind in the US, as for the world well that would have to be the owner of another Mitsubishi Galant to step up and prove it.

This has been the “lead” car in the Galant community for a few years. He has currently been finishing up another stage of his build which will undoubtedly pack even more punch. If you are curious to check out what we are doing on this platform now, check out GalantTuners.com and look at the newest and greatest swaps we are doing…little hint, we went bigger to the 3.8L engines now.

hello! I just saw this article and I wanted to point out an error:
“It has a three and half litre engine apparently the only one in the US ”

this is not true. As of July 2009, my Galant was also 3.5L swapped (after much research based on the experiences of Broderick himself). For details, you can check out my cardomain here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3218088

or my build thread here: http://www.thegalantcenter.net/showthread.php?t=28559&highlight=3.5

Any questions, feel free to ask
