Looking for a 350Z?

by David Allen on Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

When choosing a car there are certain factors involved, price is probably the main consideration, but then there is type of car, after all we are not going to see the basic sedan or hatch back car here, well unless there has been some serious work done.

Finally there is the personal choices of the driver, sports car certainly, supercar preferably and will it be a car that needs work or a completed project, but some drivers like to buy a finished project and then put their mark on it like Martin Luks Nissan 350Z.

When new this car would turn heads down any street or road, but for some people like Martin that is simply not enough and this car needed to be raced.

As with any set up, it can be a matter of trial and error, giving the engine a reworking and adding a supercharger would prove to be too much, but the 416 hp at the wheels sounds cool enough.

Looking for a 350Z?

Removing the supercharger and deciding to go with an APS extreme twin turbo system sounds more like it, the two Garrat turbos combined with the double 3.5” downpipes results in a mean machine by anyone’s standards.

Once the work had been completed, the car ended up at SGP Racing, where after some work the car was giving a massive 602 hp to the huge wheels. With that done the finishing touches were a Do Luck kit, which is kind to the shape of the car, in fact it could be called stylish.

Now the Nissan 350Z owned by Martin Luk is ready to rip the track and show those Vipers what it is made of.
