This is a car that is not seen all that often, on import builders pages and sites. Yet this is a car with style and flair, but the Eclipse is one of those cars that has to grow on you, it is a strange car with a mix of styles all bundled in one exciting shape.
The car itself is the 3rd generation version; there were four different models in the range, starting with a 2.4 litre 152 HP Eclipse GS Spyder model, moving up to the top of the range model, the Eclipse GTS Spyder with its 3.0 litre engine producing 210 HP. Unfortunately we are not sure which model this is, so we just are stuck there.
One thing about the Mitsubishi Eclipse is that in 2001 the company brought out the EV model, this was an electrically powered prototype, with a lightweight motor. Therefore, it seems that there is more to the Eclipse range of cars than first meets the eye!
