Mitsubishi Evo AKA Pure Evolution

The Mitsubishi Evo as it stands is an average sort of machine, it starts and stops, it will take you to the store and get the kids to school on time. However, that said it means that the Evo is prime car to be tuned and built up to the max and then it is going to be the end of the wimp.

The first that the owner Damien Cahill from California did was to remove to factory turbo and replace it with a nice and shiny new CBRD custom build hybrid turbo, with Turbo X front end and of the all essential Greddy piping.

In order to cope with this injection of power, the gearbox and clutch would have to be upgraded in order to achieve the desired effect; in fact, the DSS 905 Hp axles were added to finally drive the power into the wheels. This is a nice and neat car from the outside to under the hood the Evo is one cool looking and performing car.

Fujita Short Ram (Mitsubishi | Lancer | EVO VIII | 03-03)

Product Description – A traditional under hood intake also known as a Short Ram Intake, usually follows the same path as the stock intake system. There are some distinct differences between the stock intake and the Fujita Air Short Ram. A few of these differences include replacing the factory intake plenum with an aluminium plenum, eliminating resonators, air box, drop in filter, and replacing it with an open filter element. These key differences allow the vehicle to bring in more air into the intake chamber and create more horsepower and torque. Vacuum and in some cases air mass sensors, are still maintained and incorporated into the Fujita Sort Ram Intake. Since a vehicle is constantly, moving heat soak will be of little issue since the car will constantly be bringing in fresh air.

EACH FUJITA INTAKE SYSTEM COMES COMPLETE WITH

6061 T6 Aluminium Intake Tubing with Polished finish *except special editions

Hose Techniques Silicone hose w/Nomex

Carbon Plated T-bolt clamps *unless linear clamps are required

Fujita Super Flow High Performance Air Filter

TIG Welded brackets

Vibration Mounts

Fujita Duffel Bag

Fujita Hat

FUJITA SUPER FLOW HIGH PERFORMANCE AIR FILTER

Fujita’s Super Flow High Performance Air Filter was designed to maximize efficiency without compromising filtration.

The high gloss Fujita air horn enables air to enter the intake chamber in a high velocity spiral motion. The base of the filter was technically engineered to ensure a smooth and rapid passage of the air into the intake chamber.

Cleaning the air filter is simple and can be done using any aftermarket filter cleaning kit
