The modified Mitsubishi Evo IX

If you are intent on modifying an Evo then this is the model to do it with as it offers the builder so much to work with. This is because it is based on a serious production car to start with and that can make all of the difference when it comes to keeping the costs down, but still managing to keep the spirit of the car going.

There is very little that has not been touched on this build and so that means almost every part is new and that goes for the bodywork too. The electric blue colour may not be to every ones taste but it stands out from the rest of the cars, especially with those Volk wheels in gunmetal they complement each other perfectly.

For a 2.0 litre engine, it packs a serious punch with around 300 HP at the driver’s disposal through wheels. Originally there were several versions of this model available, the standard (Grand Sport Rally or “GSR” in some markets), RS (Rally Sport), SE (Special Edition) and MR (Mitsubishi Racing).
