As it stands the Nissan 350Z is a nice set of wheels, but in the hands of someone like Brent Metro, this car becomes something else, its art, hi-tech and above all supremely fast.
They are calling this car a showstopper and with a top speed of 183 mph why wouldn’t it be?
People on the outside of this section of car ownership would not understand logic of investing so much time and cash into an already superb car, but it is like bodybuilding for cars. The car that you start off with may be ok, but there could be some improvements once bitten by the bug then it becomes a way of life.
This car for example has virtually been stripped down to the bare bones and then put back together replacing the major parts that the owner requires. But that is still not it, perfection is the key to this and other projects they are aiming for the perfect machine, something that could not have been together in the car plant.
Finally, nobody builds a car like this only to stick in a garage or use it for getting to work and back; someone like Brent Metro is looking for recognition for his time, talent and skills. Which he has from us in bundles, this Nissan 350Z is not just a car, it is a legend.
