For many people the Nissan Skyline was the starting point for the import tuners in the US, this is a car that back in the day was out of hands reach of many drivers. Yet on the hot streets of Tokyo, these cars were burning up some serious rubber and at the same gaining a huge following of fans.
This particular model comes from 1996, so it is an early version of this popular car, but it is so cool in grey with extensive body panels and mouldings added to the car, it is not the same car that rolled off the Tochigi assembly line in Japan and that it how it should be as import tuning is all about producing something special, which this car is.
The car originally offered a choice of 2.0 litre, 2.5 litre, 2.6 litre or the massive 2.8 litre, with a four or five speed auto and a five speed manual gear box on offer the choice was wide, as was the power. Output ranged from around 300 HP up the massively powered R33 GTR with a brake busting 1,400 HP at the driver’s disposal.
