To make a good import car build you clearly first have to get your hands on the right car, but as these tend to be older cars the available stock is reducing all of the time and there will come a time when all of the decent cars that are ripe for modifying will have all gone.
This means only one thing, you will have the choice of choosing something else like a Nissan Almera or lifting your head out of your hands and getting some research done. If you look around the internet there are plenty of cars around that suit the bill, you just may have to go a little further afield to find them.
