Supercharged Hawaiian 1986 Toyota Corolla

by David Allen on Wednesday, April 8th, 2009

The Toyota Corolla is probably one of the most overlooked cars that ever come over from Japan, its association with non racing owners, means that it simply drifted through its years of production only to disappear from the face of the earth.

However, occasionally there is someone who can see beyond the Toyota image and goes on to create something that is breath taking and wonderful all at the same time. It takes someone like Sean Igawa from Hawaii to bring this car to life and boy has he done that.

Under the hood, there is an AE92 high compression engine that will burn around the streets with a roar that only a supercharged engine can produce. As the final icing on the cake, this car has proved its worth by winning countless shows including Best JDM, Best of Show and Best Performance at few events.
