According to industry experts Honda built around twenty million Civics, which by all accounts takes some doing and you just have to wonder exactly how many of these cars are still on the road. What makes this even more impressive is when you get to see something like this car from 1993.

According to the owner this is not just a car it is a work of art and I have to agree with him, this is a tidy little Honda Civic. It has been lovingly built up into a fantastic exhibition machine by HS (UK) Ltd, Top Gear Hayes and Bodyshop UK and a great job has been done too.

By now you know that this is a UK car and I thought it that it would be interesting to see how people do it in the UK. It looks as if this is car that could well compete with the comparable cars in the US, maybe it’s time for modified international to start.

Honda Civic Type R

Yes this car is bright yellow and too many people that is not a good colour for cars, but occasionally one of these yellow cars comes along that doesn’t actually look that bad and that really does turn things on it head.

 

You do not seem to get many of these Hondas being built up to this standard, usually you would be expecting to see a Nissan, Toyota or Lexus that seem to cost the earth and then has some serious cash spent on top of the cost just to make life even more difficult for the ordinary man in the street.

Cool blue Honda Civic

The Honda Civic is one of those unusual cars that holds a fascination with many people across all of the groups; there are not many cars around that you can easily say that about. The Civic can be at home on the drive of an elderly couple as well as the garage of an import builder.

Sometimes the Honda Civic gets a bit of bad press, I cannot really understand it because the car is a good piece of work and it suits all types of people. Is that not the basis of a good car where at one of the scale there is a little gent that uses it just for shopping and church or to the car builders who turn out something this one.

There was a time when the Honda Civic was a car that you not choose if it was the last on earth and this was true right up to a few years ago when the latest and most spectacular model came out.
