The Mazda 6 is a wonderfully adaptable car, that started its production run in 2002 and continues today with the second generation version. The first generation of this car a wide choice for the buyer, with sedan, station wagon and hatchback. It is powered by either a 1.8 litre, 2.0 litre, 2.3 litre or the sporty 3.0 litre V6 power units with a four, five or six speed auto, or the five or six speed manual gear boxes, it is clear why import builders like this car so much.

To many people and even die hard fans of the Nissan Skyline it is easy to think that this is a car born in the opulent eighties, but in fact the Nissan Skyline can be traced back to 1957! Back then, it was a stylish compact car that came in a sedan and convertible version. However, today the Skyline is a completely different car, in some cases it could easily be described as a brute of a machine and for good reasons.

Whether you call this a Honda or an Acura there is one thing that about the Integra that stands out for mile and that is this is a car that has been around for a very long time. In fact, its total production run started in 1985 and ended in 2006 there are not many models that can claim that amount time in production. It survival is down to the brand evolving over time in fact there are four generations of the Integra.
The Nissan 350Z had good nine year production run, during which time the car has basically remained the same but for a few minor changes and upgrades. It had the great 3.5 litre power unit that produced a slightly under rated 287 HP, but with some factory tweaks this could easily be brought up to a more reasonable 350 HP and a choice of either a racy six speed manual or the smoother five speed auto gearbox.
It may seem to be a strange fact, but the brilliant Nissan 350Z was only in production for a mere six years. However, what a time it has been for this is a car that turned the production sports car industry on its head by offering the knowledgeable consumer a chance to get behind the wheel of a performance car for a reasonable price and many drivers took up the chance to become king of the road.

Love it or hate it the RX-8 is a supreme car even though it only has a small yet perfectly formed 1.3 litre Wankel Rotary engine which even in its standard form produces around 190 HP, which by any account is staggering. Yet this has been coupled with a body that oozes style and class, even though it has that crazy half door that allows passengers easy access to the rear seats, no such problem with this modified version of the RX-8.
When Nissan redesigned the 240 SX the transition from S13 to S14 was a complete change of direction and it split the fan base. For there were those that liked the sporty coupe style of S13 with is pointed front end etc, but the S14 while appearing to be a step back in time, actually offered the import builder a brilliant opportunity on plate. For this is a car that has been designed to be modified, in fact try finding one today that has not been modified in any way.
