It is amazing really, how the Lancer from Mitsubishi has changed over the years, after all, it is not called the evolution for nothing, it first hit the road during 1982 and then regular as clockwork every two years the Lancer evolved into the next version. Each evolution produced a change in certain areas but overall the Lancer of today is far removed from the earlier models of the early eighties.

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evo has to be one of the most aptly named cars around as it has evolved ten times since its introduction to the car market in 1992. That’s almost a new model every other year and each time it has evolved the car has got better and more desirable to the car buying public, not to mention the import builders who love to get their hands on these cars.
