For many people the Nissan Skyline was the starting point for the import tuners in the US, this is a car that back in the day was out of hands reach of many drivers. Yet on the hot streets of Tokyo, these cars were burning up some serious rubber and at the same gaining a huge following of fans.
This particular model comes from 1996, so it is an early version of this popular car, but it is so cool in grey with extensive body panel
It seems that the great looking and even better performing Scion TC has only been around for a short while, but it has been since 2004, yes, the Scion TC is six years old and it is still probably one of the unexpected and under estimated cars to be released in recent years.
The Scion is a compact but very capable car, with a 2.4 litre power plant, which in this case it has been fitted a Garrett Turbo and that takes it right up to a cool 300 HP, which for a car of this size and weight is not to be underestimated at all.
Some folks manage to get hold of the right car at the right time and then there are those that get wrong cars at the wrong times. It is great when you get a four door sedan that has been beefed up to excess, I love these cars they offer the best of all worlds, four doors if you want, sedan styling and race car performance. Of course originally these cars were designed as a family car and as such there would have been a distinct lack of performance parts.
