Building a car solely for drifting means that the whole design needs to be thought out, you need generous amounts of power, but not too much weight and you also need the car to be balanced and firm footed otherwise everything can go so wrong, very quickly. Therefore, it is not so much throwing a powerful engine into a lightweight car, more thought and consideration is required to get it right.
It is amazing
Check this car out and you will no doubt be surprised that this is a car dating back to 2006. However, due to the amount of work that has gone into this car apart from the body there is little under the hood that is the same as when it rolled off the production line. This is a cool car by anyone’s standards as it has been designed to race rather than cruise along the road.
When this car first came many people believed that it was a design based on the old Lotus Elan from the 1960’s and of course it does show some similarities to that classic design. But this Mazda has to be much better than the Lotus because it has been going for such a long time and still looks great.
This car is owned by Jennifer Staton and it does her so much justice because this is a car that is not over built, it has be lovingly restored to better than it was when it first came off the production line and that is saying something.
