You have to skip back twenty years or so to see the sort of era that the second generation MR2 (SW20) was launched into, these were busy times and the property and financial markets were about to be rocked to ground! Not as bad as what we have seen recently, but never the less this was a time for caution and yet Toyota was already committed to the new looking MR2, which was nicknamed the poor man’s Ferrari.

Now most of the major car manufacturers have their own mini sports car, but still the MR2 is the one that is leagues ahead of the rest and in fact, the fantastic MR2 is out there on its own.
