Buying a car at an auction can be a risky business for an inexperienced buyer; even some experts are caught out, so there are dangers. But at least when you can physically touch the car and have a good look around it, you know that for one thing, it is a real car and secondly you have a general feel for what it is like plus how much work will be needed to make into something worthwhile.
