This is an amazing car with almost all parts of the Toyota having some sort of change or alteration, which takes some doing as even some of the large import builders may cut the odd corner or two now and then. However, this car seems to have an owner that has been willing to put everything into it and has ended producing a wonderful show stopping car.
One of the first features that stands out is the paint job, along the side it looks like the car has just come back from Jurassic Park, where large T Rex had taken a swipe at it and opened up the door panel. This complex paint work makes the car stand out, not just because it looks good, but because it’s an original concept.
The Matrix is basically a five doored family car, this one is the second generation version it came with a choice of engine bother were 1.8 litre bit one offers 123 HP and the other 180 HP, there was also the choice of a four speed auto and a five or six speed manual gearbox. However, this was a car with not much else when it comes to options, which is why this modified car is so interesting in so many ways.
Most of the work would appear to be cosmetic, but that is only half the job as under the hood the is the beating heart of a high performance car, with a Garrett GT32 Turbo running the show, along with all the features necessary to pull the whole thing together. Not to mention a set of fantastic looking 19” Centerline Chrome wheels, that must look good when the sun hits them.
